Daniel C. Heaton, Esq. is a Senior Associate with Nordberg | DeNichilo, representing community associations throughout California. Daniel provides counsel to boards and professional managing agents, as well as handles enforcement and litigation matters for his clients. His practice includes analyzing his clients’ obligations under applicable statutes and their respective governing documents, evaluating and resolving homeowner disputes, assisting in enforcement of CC&Rs and association rules, and navigating complicated areas of corporate governance.
Daniel enjoys being an active member of CAI at both the National and
Chapter levels. He was recently appointed to serve on the GRIE Board of Directors, and is also serving on the Chapter's Legislative Support Committee and as Co-Chair of the Connect Magazine Editorial Board. Daniel regularly contributes to industry publications and serves as faculty for multiple board education and community leadership courses.

Robert Riddick is a retired insurance-industry Information Technology executive. Following retirement, Robert transitioned in 2007 to becoming a community association volunteer leader, by joining his 2,677 single-family HOA board of directors. During the next fifteen years, he served in every role on his board, including 10 of those years as board President. He earned his CMCA designation prior to becoming the first homeowner-volunteer member of the CAI-GRIE chapter to be elected chapter President.

During his tenure with CAI, he has served as a member and past President of CAI's national Foundation for Community Association Research, served as a two-term member of the CAI national Board of Trustees, served as a two-term member and chair of the CAI national CAVL membership representation group, and is now completing his twelfth year serving on the GRIE Board of Directors, as well as completing his fifth year serving on the CAI-San Diego Board of Directors.

Robert has also served the GRIE chapter as a member and committee-chair of the chapter Magazine Committee, is a current ten-year member and past chair of the GRIE LSC committee, and served for six years as the chapter's CLAC Liaison. He is currently in his second term as one of our two GRIE CLAC Delegates. Robert is also a CAI-GRIE chapter Hall of Fame inductee.

Other current endeavors include Robert as a current member and past President of the Riverside Community College District Foundation. And, in his leisure time, Robert is an avid boater who enjoys cruising California's coastal waters aboard his boat named "Doin-Jus-Fine".

With 18 years of experience in Association Management, Brandi Wilson proudly serves as the Director of Community Management at Associa Equity Management. She has been a dedicated member of the Associa team for 14 years.

Brandi's journey in community management began at Total Property Management in Orange County, where she built a strong foundation in the industry. Her career path led her to Palm Desert, where she joined Desert Resort Management, eventually earning the title of Director of Community Management.

In 2015, Brandi achieved the PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) designation, highlighting her commitment to professional growth and industry expertise.

In her role as Director of Community Management, Brandi is dedicated to upholding the values of integrity, transparency, and exceptional service to her staff and clients. Her mission is to foster thriving and harmonious communities through effective property management.

As a community advocate and experienced problem solver, Brandi is committed to staying current with industry trends to provide top-notch management services to the communities she serves.
